Indulge Your Fashion Cravings with Decadence
City College of San Francisco celebrates 10 years of fashion education
with its annual spring fashion show
San Francisco,CA, May 22, 2011 – Hey fashion fans! Looking for a great, local fashion event to go to? Want to spend your Sunday evening soaking in the latest in cool, chic, romantic, and edgy trends? City College of San Francisco is back with its annual spring fashion show. Celebrating it’s tenth year, this year’s extravaganza promises to arouse the senses with student designers’ magnificent creations and a return to where it all started: Ruby Skye, one of San Francisco’s most luxurious and grand night clubs. We will begin welcoming guests at 6:30pm, and our show starts at 7pm. Tickets for this lavish vent are being offered at not-so-lavish prices: $10 for students and $15 for general admission. With raffle tickets featuring prizes from local spas and restaurants, Decadence promises to bring a little bit of opulence to your night.
For the past decade, the Fashion Department at CCSF has fostered the Bay Area’s up and coming fashion creatives in a unique and enriching environment. As one of the few student-produced, student-featured fashion shows in California, Decadence is the product of collaborative efforts of the students in CCSF’s Fashion Show Production class, and student designers in the Fashion Department. This year also marks a new and exciting feature to the CCSF Spring Fashion Show: one winning senior designer will be awarded a two-year scholarship from the Academy of Art University.
The Fashion Department of CCSF is recognized for professional excellence in design, fashion, and business. All proceeds from the show will benefit CCSF’s Fashion Department.

Belle,
ReplyDeleteThank you for revising the Press Release and getting it up on the blog. The only change I notice is the line regarding the scholarship. Natalie mentioned last night that she was not if it was a 1 or 2 year award. Maybe delete the "two-year" and I think the sentence works for now.
Thanks Again,
Larice
Hey Belle,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say thanks again for all of your hard work. This press release kicks ass! The only thing I can think of is the sentence for "The tickets for this lavish event" is missing the e in event. Also, maybe find a better way to say "not so lavish prices.." and say something else. It does not really bother me. I'm kinda of on the fence with that. If everyone else likes it then in cool to.
Thanks,
Rheannia
Hi Belle! I think everything is GREAT! But as for the time remember its 6pm not 6:30. :) And this is only an opinion but...I think we should move that whole Ticket prices, and decadence is opulence to the end of the 2nd paragraph, because we would want the press to read a tad bit of our history too right? Because in my opinion if I was press I wouldn't continue on reading after the 1st paragraph, because all the information is already there on that top part. I really don't know its just an opinion from me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for working so hard on this!
Appreciate mucho! :)
